The Growth of An Industry Leader
At Litchke Farms in Superior Wisconsin we continually strive to exceed industry standards and to adapt to the growing desires of our customers.
Chris and Julie Litchke, owners and operators of Litchke Farms, Inc., oversee everything involved with our entire operation. From growing nutrient-rich corn for the herd to ensuring clean processing procedures, they not only answer the phone but are also physical working on the farm on a daily basis.
Raising beef since 1980, the husband and wife team have an in-depth knowledge of our animals, the intricacies of running a farm, and know the ins-and-outs as it relates to the beef industry as a whole. Julie, raised on a farm, and Chris, running a farm for over 30 years, are now raising their own children to share in that lifestyle.
Established in 2005, our business was meant to fill the need for naturally raised and custom processed beef in the immediate area. Since then Litchke Farms, Inc. has flourished, meeting our original goal and expanding to meet the retail beef needs of individuals, families, and organizations throughout the entire country, with an emphasis on Wisconsin and Northeastern Minnesota. Today we maintain well-established relationship with our local Wisconsin customers as well as with area businesses and organizations that seek-out our beef for meat raffles and fundraising events.
Our Farm... A Natural Rural Scene.
Family Owned. Family Operated.
Nestled to the North, in the countryside in Superior, Wisconsin, our farm consists of over 1,500 acres of pristine farmland. Situated between Big Balsam Creek and Pokegama River, our acreage at Litchke Farms remains a natural setting within the region.
From natural lush green pastures to chemical-free corn, Litchke Farms and its plentiful acres are rooted in a deep understanding of how doing things naturally can have the greatest impact on human and animal health. As business owners, as farmers, and as local members of the community we are committed to utilizing sustainable agriculture practices that preserve our rural landscape. Throughout our entire operation, from the machine sheds and barns to the processing plant, we strive to keep every area of our farm clean and operating efficiently.
Truly a family affair, Litchke Farms is owned and operated by husband and wife team Chris and Julie Litchke. But the family influence doesn’t stop there; their young children also actively help with the day-to-day operations.
